As the year wraps up, we're thrilled to reflect on some of the highlights that have marked a successful year for our practice. One of our significant achievements was introducing an intra-oral scanner, a digital impression tool, that helps get a more reliable, accurate impression. Plus, it helps patients with their gag reflex, high salivary flow, or any difficulty opening their mouth.
Additionally, we began offering aligner orthodontic treatment. This service not only helps patients align their teeth for treatment and esthetic purposes, but it also reduces caries/periodontal risk and promotes better oral hygiene.
Finally, our most exciting achievement was the addition of a new dental chair this year. This has helped our practice in various ways. Before, we only had 2 dental chairs—one for hygienist, one for the doctor. This made it very difficult to accommodate any emergency patients if our schedule was full. Also, when we would have issues with running a little late, causing the next patient to wait until we are done with our current patient and prepare/disinfect the chair. Now that we have an additional chair, we can accommodate emergency patients and reduce the wait time for our patients with appoints.
We're proud of these accomplishments, which align with our goals for the year. Although we didn't face any notable lows, we're grateful for the progress and learning we've achieved. To our current and future patients, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your loyalty and trust. Without them we wouldn't have had such a great year.
